Recently we were asked to cater a beach-themed wedding. The bride and groom exchanged vows in sunny Florida, and wanted to bring a bit of it back to Ohio for their reception.
Guests were greeted at the front door by an ice sculpture of two dolphins as well as a “welcome snow cone.” Adults chose between mojito or passion fruit margarita flavors, and the children had a wide variety of crazy flavors to choose from as well!
Moving into the cocktail hour, guests enjoyed our signature cheese display, as well as Shrimp Shooters, Spanakopita, and Tea Sandwiches.
Instead of a formal dinner, the bride and groom chose to have several stations where guests could create their own entrees. The first station was a taco bar featuring chicken and fish tacos. Next was a salad martini station with an attendant shaking the ingredients with the guest’s choice of salad dressing, and the last station was a hamburger slider station.
For dessert, the bride and groom cut a cheesecake, and guests also enjoyed a Blue Chocolate fountain with various items to dip into it.
